How to Order

To order, you can take one of two paths: Either choose one of our prepared selections, or make up your own case from the Wine Cellar.

Go to your chosen selection, and press the order button on that page. On the secure page that opens (Your Shopping Basket), you can specify how many boxes (of 6) you want. If that is all you want to purchase press the Check Out button, and fill out your billing and shipping details in the forms that follow. All information you put into that form is transmitted across the web in encrypted form. See our full Security Issues page if you have any doubts.

Browse through the wine cellar, and choose any wines you like. For each wine you wish to purchase, press the Order button on that page. This will take you to Your Shopping Basket where you can choose the number of bottles required. Enter the number and press Keep Shopping to return to the wine cellar. You can do this as many times as you like until you have made up your case, then click on Check Out to make your purchase. At any time you can use the Remove button to take something out of your shopping basket, or the Empty basket button to stop altogether. From any page in the site you can see what's in your shopping basket by clicking on Show Order in the left hand menu-bar. Please remember to order a minimum quantity of six bottles.

Once you have pressed the Check Out button you will be asked for your shipping details. When you have entered your delivery address and preferred shipping method, the shipping charge will be automatically calculated (depending on the weight of the shipment) and added to your total. See our Shipping page for further details. We recommend looking at the Currency Issues page beforehand so that you can now calculate the approximate cost to you in your currency.

Even now, you can still change your mind and press the Do Not Order button which takes you back to the shopping basket. If you must (we’d prefer you didn’t) you can then empty your basket and leave.

All prices include VAT/IVA.

In some countries outside the European Union you may be charged import duties on the wine you buy at El Celler Català. We regret that we are unable to precharge these duties to you, and that you will be charged by UPS on delivery.

If you click on the order button and nothing happens, it is probably because you cannot connect securely to the server. This could be for one of two reasons:

You are using a very old browser version which doesn’t allow secure connections, in which case you should think seriously about upgrading.

You may be behind a corporate "firewall" that won’t allow secure connections. Ask you network administrator if you’re not sure, but you might need to order from home.

As a test, try connecting to https://www.microsoft.com. If you can connect securely to them, you should be able to connect to us.
